Hello and thank you for taking a look at my site. Don Sedy here. I am a business developer, analyst and consultant. I work with various  sized businesses in the New York area; focusing on improvements and betterment in areas of strategy and operations.

A little background on me. From 1999 through 2008 I founded and was CEO at Titlesearch USA, which was a real estate information and technology solutions provider to financial institutions. It was a really good time there, great culture, and we had an awesome staff of associates (75) and really cool clients.  By mid 2008,  3 of our largest client accounts  (which accounted for 12 business units)  were acquired.  By the time Bear and Lehman blew up at the end of 2008, we closed the doors.

In 2002 I founded Goabstract.Com, and built out a bunch of regional LLCs (almost franchise like) in NY, Chicago and Los Angeles. I sold those off to each of the LLCs to the managing partners in 2005.

In 2004, myself and a good friend jointly built out and developed a SaaS program for the mortgage industry. After a successful launch in 2006, and a couple 100 of subscribers, we pulled the plug when our self-financing ran out and the market started to implode. The code is still sitting on a shelf today.

All told I would say I was 1 1/2 to 2 out of 3.

I am avid sports fan; Green Bay Packers, NY Rangers, Chelsea and AC Milan are among my  favorite teams. I also love fishing and in 2008 got my USCG professional fishing charter captains license.

I live in Long Island NY and was recently quoted in Harvard Business Review. HBR  Case Study January 2010

Again, thanks for visiting my site and look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
